I was walking back to my car when I stumbled upon this flower.

At first, I was attracted to it since the sun was forcing it to glisten its highlights as if covered in shiny glitter. Then, upon closer investigation, it looked as though the micro flowers were starting to wither away. Either way, I thought, this beauty deserves to photographed.

But then, while in my editing stage, I had noticed what looks to be a single drop of water within its body. I am now convinced that the flowers are indeed fading and wilting, and that this particular life form will soon dissipate.
