As I walked under the numerous trees that had towered over me, I heard the very strong and loud peeping of baby birds overhead. I stopped myself to look upward while hoping to catch a view of what I was suspecting was just over me. No sooner did I find where their tiny screams were coming from, I was being slightly warned that I was too close. Daddy had swooped right by me, then up again to feed his young.

As I had feverishly tried to focus, he quickly left the tree. But still hearing the babies crying and wanting more, I knew he had just temporarily left to find them more to eat.

I stationed myself right where he had threatened me and focused on their hole of a home. I don’t think I waited even a minute before he had arrived back with more grub for his loved ones.

As I clicked away, he apparently had heard the camera shooting. Without a single swoop of a threat to me or even a sound of disapproval from his beak, he just simply turned his head and looked at me. Shortly after I was extremely satisfied with his performance, I had stopped. It wasn’t until then that he went on with his dinner duties.
