Having given this particular breed of finch to my parents some time ago as an anniversary gift, I have grown a fondness for their beauty ever since.

And when I had discovered that these birds were free amongst the environment of the conservatory, my interest in going had become even greater than just seeing butterflies.

Coming around a corner that my friend had just walked, she turned to me and pointed into the tree where a couple was sitting, grooming, and feeding. The one that caught my eye moved slightly onto a higher branch, allowing me to take a really nice and clear shot of him.
