Living in Connecticut, Monarch butterflies are the most common and seen butterflies in the region.

However, whenever I see one at rest, it tends to be a bit worn with its wings torn up and tattered.

Imagine my surprise when I saw this perfectly healthy one maintaining its beauty as the wind blew it from side to side. Clinging to the leaf for support, I shot it just as the wind turned into a subtle breeze.
